Life Update

Firstly, I would like to apologize to anyone who’s come out to see me based off of my schedule here, to not have me be there. I was diagnosed with a rare disorder that’s causing my femoral head of both legs, which fit into my hip joint, to collapse. The only treatment is total hip replacement.

I’ve been noticing this pain for a few years but up until the end of last summer, it was very intermittent and manageable. Toward the end of last season it became a daily pain that became deafening. Due to insurance issues, I had to wait until the start of this year to get some answers, which due to needing referrals and waiting periods, took forever to get answers.

After finally getting some answers, I continued to work through the pain until mid April when I basically became cripple. After about a month of rest, I wanted to try to work a couple days a week, which I was able to work 6 more gigs until my first hip surgery which was on June 6th. Since then I’ve been in recovery.

I’m hoping to get back to working 2 days a week again in a couple weeks. But that’s very tentative still. As of now there’s no way I could get back. Starting July 16 (tentatively), I will try to get back to Boardwalk Billy’s, then every Friday at Lulus, and 2 days a week going forward. But again we shall see. I honestly feel like I’m trying to rush things so that may change.

I will try to be better at updating here for those of you who don’t use or check my social media accounts. Again I apologize for not managing this properly and I look forward to seeing y’all again! Hopefully sooner rather than later. Both my head and my bank account needs it. Lol.
